hey there!

I’m Stephanie

I’m a graphic designer and certified chef. I’ve been paper-obsessed since I was old enough to hold a pencil. As I’ve gotten older and moved up in my career, I developed an increasing need for organization tools. I couldn’t find just what I wanted so I started creating them myself. You can read more about that journey here.

My love for planners and organization eventually met my love for beautiful patterns. There are a lot of pretty patterns out there but I couldn’t find a beautiful pattern that represented my aesthetic. A lot of the florals felt either too young or too old. I was looking for florals that were modern and elegant without being too new age so I set out to create them myself. It’s my new obsession and an ongoing process but it is, in no way, easy. I look for inspiration in real life and spend hundreds of hours slowly developing them. I aspire to create patterns and scenes that just feel lovely.

Meet Margot + Chloe

Chloe is the sweetest.
Chloe is an American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer mix who found her way to my office during Covid. She was 15 pounds underweight and hid under my bed when I swept the house. She trained easily and is able to communicate very effectively, she has no problem telling me exactly what she wants. She quickly became a passionately loyal companion. She’s happiest running free in a field, as long as she can still see me. She’s also impressively resilient, she got over her fear of brooms quickly but she cried for hours when I left the house for work. She needed a friend.

Margot is a hilarious little sh*t.
We visited the local animal shelter and I was immediately struck by an American Staffordshire Terrier puppy who had all the same markings as Chloe. We took them both outside and they played well together. I didn’t really want a puppy, I wanted an older dog, but Margot was clearly the right fit. She’s bossy and sly, often tricking Chloe into doing what she wants her to do. She’s unbelievably stubborn and an absolute instigator but also the snuggliest pet I’ve ever had.

I can’t do any work at all without Margot and Chloe sleeping on my feet under my desk so I felt it apt to include them in the process, even if just as inspiration.

10% of all Margot + Chloe proceeds go to local animal shelters to support their efforts to find lost pets like Margot & Chloe a home.

If you’re thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider checking out your local animal shelter.
